Datavoice, in conjunction with Optus, provided SD-WAN deployment services to more than 250 sites nationally including Spotlight, Anaconda & Harris Scarfe, with 650+ users of UC deployed across 59 of these sites also.
Our project management methodology and field services approach enabled a refresh of critical IT infrastructure with minimal interruption to business continuity. Schedules were developed in conjunction with Optus to leverage field resources across the country enabling simultaneous delivery of sites so that aggressive project timeframes could be met.
Datavoice adopted a ‘hand-in-glove’ interaction between internal resources and the Optus professional services team. Facilitated in conjunction with the Optus & Datavoice Project leads, this ensured that project deliverables were coordinated, and our that our resources operated as a remote extension of the Optus team.
Additionally, Datavoice took care of warehousing, logistical management, allocation of equipment into job lots, recording of device serial and MAC addresses in CMDB, DOA Testing of network equipment & delivery of equipment to each site. This approach enabled the Optus engineering team to preconfigure, ensured that equipment was assigned to field resources in line with the delivery schedule, and that any potential delays associated with DOA equipment were eliminated.
