Datavoice, in conjunction with Optus, provided inter-rack cabling in 2 main communications rooms and 9 secondary communications rooms for the Department of Home Affairs’ new Melbourne accommodation facility.
Works comprised of the interconnection of 44 racks throughout the facility with 1,150 multi-mode fibre cores, 1,000 single-mode cores and 1,400 x shielded Cat.6A tie cables. In addition to implementation services, Datavoice assisted Optus with physical layer design services.
