National Disability Insurance Agency
Datavoice, in conjunction with Datacom, provided LAN & WAN transition services to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) across more than 170 sites throughout the country.
Works were comprised of installation and onboarding of routers, switches and WAPs to standalone and co-located NDIA offices of various sizes. In some instances, site make-ready preparatory works were required, which typically comprised of WAP cabling and rack remediation works.
Our project management methodology and field services approach enabled deployment of critical IT infrastructure with minimal interruption to business continuity. Works were completed as a combination of in-business hours and after hours activity, and schedules were developed in conjunction with Datacom to leverage field resources across the country enabling simultaneous delivery of sites over an extended program of works.
Datavoice developed a highly cooperative interaction between internal resources and the Datacom professional services team. Facilitated in conjunction with the Datacom & Datavoice Project leads, this ensured that project deliverables were coordinated, and that our resources operated as a remote extension of Datacom in their capacity as the prime System Integrator.
